OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY

Day 3 of the Special New Month Prophetic Prayers was a Wednesday "Oh Lord, show me mercy" altar. Worship opened with "We know You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You; all power is in Your hands, with You nothing is impossible" and "What You cannot do does not exist." Pastor Jerry then recounted two wonders from about three weeks earlier: a word of knowledge told someone sitting beside a woman confirmed clinically dead to turn up the phone volume and place it beside her; she did not rise when the prayer ended, and the daughter felt God had failed them, but five minutes later the mother came back to life. A second woman's husband, after brain cancer surgery, was given six months before regaining consciousness and told he might never walk. She answered the doctor, "What God cannot do does not exist," called her husband's name in the ICU a few hours after surgery, and he answered and opened his eyes. When staff removed the window blades to move his stretcher out through the window, he stood up on his feet.

The mercy prayers were built on "the God of my journey." Pastor Jerry led cries of "My Father, my Father, show me mercy... raise Your banner of mercy over my life... make a name for Yourself through my life," and "By Your mercy lead me forth, lead me out" of affliction, infirmity and limitation. He drew on Jacob crossing the Jordan with only a staff and returning as a multitude, the widow's son whose funeral was interrupted, and the woman with the issue of blood pressing through the crowd. A long section rested on Jeremiah 31:20, "My bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him": the compassion of God is stirred for those carrying evil reports. Rounds followed for those saying "take away this", "let my head rise again" and "I am surrounded by battles", with a "Mercy Lord" litany over every affliction, failure, confusion, bondage, conspiracy, evil report, sign of death and delay.

Words of knowledge ranged from fragile X syndrome, tuberculosis and a cerebrospinal fluid leak to eleven miscarriages, a recurring chest tumour, fluid reaccumulating around the heart, autism and Down syndrome, secondary infertility, epigastric cancer, absent sweat glands and something pushing an eyeball out. The day's declaration was "I am the one the Lord has shown great mercy", and the seed narration was "Instant mercy intervention." Pastor K and Pastor Jerry then decreed that every heavy burden is rolled away and every negative journey (barrenness, disease, career stagnation, poverty, demonic affliction) is terminated by mercy, recalling how God remembered His covenant and brought Israel out after 430 years.

The "inanimate objects begin to work" promo carried on: a business truck, printers, a 15-year-old blender, a microwave, a lightning-struck tablet and a New Zealand piano all came back to life. Four longer video testimonies followed, covering costochondritis, liver failure plus colon cancer, triple negative breast cancer and a crash survivor who rose from a wheelchair. The service closed with salvation, two communion servings, the testimony line, the countdown to Friday's NSPPD Nigeria Prayer Conference in Lagos, and the line to post: "God's mercy is speaking for me."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Clinically dead mother (recap, about three weeks earlier): a word of knowledge at the 7 a.m. prayers told someone beside a dead woman to turn up the phone and lay it beside her. She did not wake when the prayer ended and the daughter felt let down; five minutes later the mother came back to life.
• Husband after brain cancer surgery (recap): the doctor said he would stay unconscious about six months and might never walk, and complained to the brother-in-law about the wife's "behaviour". Hours after surgery she called his name in the ICU; he answered and opened his eyes. When staff removed the window blades because the door could not take the stretcher, he stood up.
• Inanimate objects promo: a business truck quoted at $6,200 to repair started on its own after the 24 January declaration, all dashboard lights gone (transmission, clutch plates), and now "drives like new"; printers broken since 2021, one with spilled ink, now working; a blender over 15 years old in a store; a microwave dead 10 years; a tablet dead 16 years after a lightning strike in 2006; a piano in New Zealand silent for 3-5 years, working on 3 February after a week of speaking to it.
• Reverend Esther, London (name from captions): costochondritis since 2015/2016, chest pain like a heart attack, told there was no cure. Pastor Jerry called out "costochondritis" on 22 January 2024 though she was not praying about it; a year later she has never had the pain again. She apologised for holding back the testimony.
• Pastor Clement, Bristol, Virginia, USA: on 22 November 2024 his mother-in-law was diagnosed with liver failure and colon cancer, and family were already discussing burial. He fasted and replayed that morning's altar ("nothing will remain, cancer will not remain"). At the transfer hospital tests found no trace of cancer and normal liver function; she was discharged and is strong almost two months on. She also testified on camera.
• Juliet (surname unclear in captions), USA: a preschool teacher for 26 years, diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer a month after retiring in 2023, with three biopsies and three lymph nodes removed. Staying up on the night fire altar in February 2024 she heard "triple negative breast cancer, let it be reversed." An August 2024 CT scan found no cancer cells; she showed the result.
• Crash survivor, USA (name unclear): in October 2022, driving Midland to Dallas, the car caught fire; walking to a store a minute away, he and a colleague were hit by a car. The colleague died; he was found after 90 minutes, flown to Dallas, and was in a coma two days. A planned hip replacement was found unnecessary at the second visit after the altar word "what they saw before they will not see again." Told he would be in a wheelchair a year, he stood up one week after the word "people on wheelchairs, there's a grace for them to rise."
• Pastor Jerry drew out that the liver failure and colon cancer were both kicked out "at the same time", and that whatever "fell on a day" within one minute is cancelled.

1. What God cannot do does not exist. The season is a revival of the strange acts of God, where people no longer ask "where is your God?"
2. Faith is now, not tomorrow. Like the wife at the ICU bed, it speaks to God's faithfulness while the report still says otherwise.
3. God is the God of the journey. A journey He began cannot be truncated by the enemy, and mercy interrupts every negative journey, as it did the widow's son's funeral and Israel's 430 years of slavery.
4. Mercy is all we have. Jacob crossed with only a staff and came back a multitude; it was mercy, not strength, connections or know-how.
5. God's bowels are troubled for His children (Jeremiah 31:20). He is a high priest touched by our infirmities, and in all our affliction He was afflicted.
6. When God has compassion He does not send people away empty. His mercy is not mere consolation; it comes with wonders.
7. "This is not how the journey will end": not in pain and not with the report they gave you. Nothing comes under mercy and leaves the same way.
8. God's mercy is speaking for you now, present tense, and no other voice will speak over your life.
