HELP HAS COME
HELP HAS COME || SUNDAY SERVICE || 12TH JANUARY 2025
Help has been laid: God who helped you will not unhelp you, so steward it, rest while He works, watch the gate, and shout before you see it, "Hey! My help has come!"

Summary
The second Sunday of 2025 fell on day seven of the church's 21-day fast, and every one of the four services ran under one banner: "Help has come." Each opened with worship ("What we call You, that's who You are... we call You Helper"), a prayer that help be "laid" and "planted" in every month of the year, and a set of declarations over each day of the coming week. Pastor Jerry led a long ministration of help in the first service, announcing "one day of help" within the next 14 days that would "cover the years you lost", help that restores 20 years, seven doors opening, and help "for what has never happened before" before the end of the 21 days. He saw a mud house where men like soldiers pushed someone in saying "it is your house", and broke python spirits, powers using "the data of your father's house" to repeat old patterns, and household witchcraft. The cry of the day, shouted to neighbours in every service: "Hey! My help has come!"
First service (Genesis 2:20-22). By the law of first mention, the first "help" in Scripture is Eve, the help meet for Adam. Nobody is self-made; even Jesus needed a man to carry His cross. God cannot "unhelp" a man He has helped: Joseph's coat was torn twice, but the help was never in his clothes. People who walk away from you were drawn by the help on you, not the other way round. The serpent came for the help, not the helped, so expect battle when help arrives and do not stoop or relax. God brought Eve out while Adam slept: be diligent, then rest and let God work ("Jerry, sleep"). He told of a world-renowned American healing evangelist he watched as a child who has now asked him for a joint meeting, help he never arranged. Help also begets help, generation after generation. The charge: steward your help.
Second service (Matthew 2:18; Jeremiah 31:15). "Operation: let us help Sister Rachel." Rachel, loved but barren, finally bore Joseph and then died in transition giving birth to Benjamin; her weeping became the picture of Herod's slaughter. He named the arrows that strike at the point of joy: a bride who died of a "heart attack" at her bridal shower, a mother whose three children died in one accident, a groom hit by a car on his wedding morning while fetching cufflinks, a bride who went mad at the altar. Against them he set Psalm 91 and the trader in Onitsha whose shop was the only one spared when the others were raided and burnt. The Herod spirit hunts the new thing, so he prayed against powers that waste your new year. Rachel's grave became the landmark where Saul received good news, but your pain will not be someone else's laughter. To the "Rachels" who have won before: do not become prayerless, and "don't die giving life." The congregation anointed themselves with the oil of exemption and shouted "I am exempted!"
Third service (Luke 15:11-32). "When the Father chooses to help." Rejection can be the sign help is near: the prodigal was refused pig food, and then the fatted calf was killed. The father was outside at the exact moment the son came home, so pray for discernment of times and seasons and for ordered steps. The party had started before the elder brother arrived; when help angers "elder brothers", do not reply, let the Father answer them. Hunger brought the son home, but the father fixed his identity first (robe, ring, shoes) before the food, because God fixes the man before He brings the meat. He anointed the people for "big things" and said a joint crusade had been proposed by the preacher he admired as a child.
Fourth service (Acts 12:1-17). Peter's help was rooted in the church's unceasing prayer, but the praying house did not recognise it when it knocked. Rhoda was at the gate, where decisions, trade and watchmen sit. "When you are done praying, find out what is going on at the gate." Ask for the spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding; your spirit cannot be slower than technology (Yahoo Messenger and Tago are gone). New seasons are preceded by a sound: Rhoda knew Peter's voice before the door opened, as Elijah heard the abundance of rain. Faith that people call mad is coming: a childless woman who wore maternity gowns for six months and conceived, a couple who refused a one-baby scan when they had prayed for twins (a second baby was found), a single woman who carried wedding balloons in August and met her husband in September. Pastors from the team closed with prophetic declarations of evidence before the end of January and changed status before the end of the 21 days.
Testimonies through the day covered a new job heading branches across Nigeria, a UK immigration case reversed after 19 years, lymph node cancer gone after three of 18 rounds of chemo, a child's seizures healed, a missing brother found, visas, a kidnapped brother released while fellow passengers were killed, an autistic son employed exactly as written on a congratulations note, a pulmonary embolism reversed, and a mother who survived rat poison.

Week declarations (one set per service, summarised)
- First service: Monday, my help is built on mercy; Tuesday, help against setback, delay, denial and dryness; Wednesday, no more struggles, "Ebenezer is my new name"; Thursday, powers that sabotage the help of men in transition break, angelic assistance; Friday, the siege is broken, help from difficult places and from my enemies; Saturday, I sit on the throne of grace with early help, "wrong men go away, sent men come in".
- Second service: Abba has raised helpers in places I cannot access; open eyes as Herod's plan was exposed to the wise men; sun, moon, stars, systems and helpers aligned; Ebenezer reverses persistent challenges; "O earth, open and swallow" powers vowing I will not rest; marvellous early help, bigger than expected.
- Third service: an altar of step-by-step help; help has gone ahead; help from difficult places; fire on powers that disqualify, reject or cover men at the point of help; "they will see me, recognise me, accept me"; systems still debating my help, release it.
- Fourth service: help waiting wherever I go; help for enthronement like Esther; help to possess new territories; help to escape every Herod like Peter; the covenant of divine help; help "in the order of Saul": what I am looking for has been found.
- Also each service: the 2025 declaration "Nothing goes wrong around me... to the God who sees me" and the pledge to live in the consciousness of His presence.
Testimonies played / recapped
Second service
- Sandra (Abuja): joined NSPPD 2020, moved to Abuja 2021, hopeless and in debt. A 2024 job worked her Monday to Sunday. On 31 December she slipped out of work at 11:30 pm for crossover, heard "your year of relevance", and was sent home. Two days later a recommendation came; the role was "taken", then vacant again by evening. She now holds a globally recognised position heading departments across Nigeria, and the person first hired assists her.
- Uch (from the UK): in the UK since 2003; a lawyer's error began 19 years of refused immigration applications, missing her children growing up and her daughter's wedding. Praying through all four Sunday services online, dancing an hour when told to dance ten minutes, she checked her email on 17 October 2024: leave to remain granted. Second testimony: breast lumps from 2021, then a cancer in the lymph nodes (2022/2023). She stopped chemotherapy after three of 18 rounds after a word on "cancer of the lymph nodes"; scans showed no trace, and in 2024 she was discharged from follow-up.
- Recapped by Pastor Jerry in the first service: a single mother of four married to a man never married before.
Third service (testifiers called up included Victoria, Comfort, Angel and Constance; captions garbled the rest)
- Online member, 9 years without work, had even paid for jobs. Came to Streams of Joy the first Sunday of 2025 and caught "early answers". On the Friday of the fast's first week, at 11 pm, a family friend recommended her for a job she had not applied for. She has it.
- Mother and Anora: her mother had unexplained pains in last year's fast; tests found nothing, and she was discharged well. A friend's daughter, Anora (about 2), had back-to-back seizures from April 2024; Pastor Jerry named "a child under 5 with seizures" before his August birthday and they stopped. Her limbs then did not work until she took three steps on her birthday, 10 November 2024; she now walks and plays normally.
- Comfort: her mother, a Catholic single mother, finally joined the altar (her birthday wish; her birthday is 13 January). Her brother, missing for over a year, called on 1 January 2024 saying "fire was burning him" to call home; debts of millions were cleared by a helper.
- Angel (UNN graduate): registered the wrong semester's course in 2022 and was told to come back next year; in 2023 the professor was removed from the course and she scored an A. IELTS 7.5; a friend supplied the full proof of funds during the 10-minute dance week; the student visa, stalled since July 2024 and deferred past October, came out on Christmas Day. Leaving Nigeria on Tuesday (14 January).
- Constance (California, USA), a nurse: neck injury in a work accident on 27 December 2022, in a collar, on antidepressants, surgery pending. On 12 April (2023) Pastor Jerry described her exactly, including the surgeon appointment on 2 August; the July MRI showed it reversed. She has since had three back-to-back blessings and is in Abuja doing the dry fast with her son Bright.
Fourth service
- Sheila: a silent, irregular member who skipped church through 2023 and still went clubbing. The day before the mid-year fast the Holy Spirit reminded her of her promise; she has not touched alcohol since, and completed all 14 days. Diagnosed about 10 years ago with early "osteitis" (caption; joint and back pain), she could not stand 30 minutes. After a dream of Pastor Jerry laying hands on her and shouting "fire", she volunteered at crossover and stood from about 7 pm to 2 am without pain; she can now touch her toes. She now prays in tongues.
- Young woman (lost her father in 2012): backslid abroad, suicidal thoughts, dropped out. Rededicated last year; the thoughts are gone. Expected to graduate in December after added courses, she was called at the July graduation with a second class. Asthmatic from birth, she claimed "respiratory problems reversed" at the Liberia conference (2 November 2024) and has not used her inhaler since, even in harmattan.
- Woman from the UK, four testimonies: her daughter's painful hormonal imbalance with boils ("boys" in captions) gone after she claimed another girl's testimony; her brother, kidnapped in 2023 on the way to a younger brother's wedding, was released on the fourth day with his friend while the other passengers were beheaded; her incontinence after childbirth healed and the hospital appointment cancelled; she no longer needs glasses.
- Cornelia (UK): runs a charity with schools in Ghana for underprivileged children with autism; has two autistic sons. Introduced to NSPPD in June 2022 by Dr Mrs Dana (Auntie Felicia) and hooked by "O Lord, show me mercy". She "tested the system": wrote a congratulations note that her son David would work at a top UK hotel, Monday to Wednesday, 9 am to 1 pm, from 1 August 2022. Days later his special needs school placed him there; he was given a permanent job on exactly those days and hours, with a pension.
- Ann (Nakai, uncertain), on NSPPD since 2020: in January 2024 her sister in Houston developed blood clots in both lungs, fluid and pneumonia after surgery. At about 1 hour 12 minutes into NSPPD, Pastor Jerry named "bilateral pulmonary thromboembolism", then "pleural effusion"; at 3 am the sister was pain-free and was cleared. Main testimony: a 15-year-old girl her mother had raised since birth put rat poison in the mother's food after being caught stealing to get on Facebook, then ran away, came back and confessed. The mother, who had taken communion that night, was checked in hospital and is fine.
Words of knowledge / healing declarations
First service
- One day of help within the next 14 days that covers lost years; help that restores 20 years; seven doors opening; "help for what has never happened before" before the end of the 21 days; someone will look for your number before Thursday.
- A mud house where military-looking men push someone in, saying "it is your house": broken.
- Python spirit manipulation; demons using "the data of your father's house"; household witchcraft; things stolen in dreams.
- Damage from a past operation reversed; complications from a child's circumcision reversed; bad news that comes just before good news broken.
- Angels with new garments of help, also for your children.
Second service (after testimonies)
- Respiratory challenges taken away; hepatitis leaving; a leg surgery reversed; something in the belly of a six-year-old girl reversed; a business door closed for over three years broken; divine decoration in your father's house; men assigned to help you commanded into action.
Third service
- Watery, smelly rashes; an operation planned on a son's nose ("son and the nose") reversed; insomnia rebuked; a leaking heart valve reversed; a mantle of speed on about 5,000 people; angels packing rubbish out of homes; more territories added.
Important message
- Everyone on this side of eternity will need help; "self-made" is a lie. Help is the system through which significance, relevance and becoming are routed.
- God cannot unhelp a man He has helped. Help is on you, not on your clothes, your connections, or the people who came because of it.
- Help attracts warfare: the serpent came for the help. Battle is a sign the help is of God, so do not stoop or relax.
- God often brings help while you "sleep": do your part diligently, then trust Him and stop interrogating the process.
- Help multiplies: one help begets another, as Eve's children bore children.
- 2025 will carry no sudden bitter tears. The Herod spirit hunts the new, but your pain will not be your enemies' laughter, and no negative prophecy will be fulfilled in your life.
- When the Father chooses to help, rejection can be the signal, timing is divinely arranged, and He answers the "elder brothers" for you.
- God fixes your identity before He gives you what you came hungry for; the change in you is the testimony, and it benefits the Kingdom.
- Prayer must be joined to watching: know what is happening at the gate of your industry, and discern the sound of your help before you see it.
- This is a year of crazy faith: act like it has already happened, and you will not receive less than what you prayed for.
What he asks of us
Today / this season
- Shout "Hey! My help has come!" to neighbours; tell them "the Lord has helped you", "I am exempted", "congratulations, your help has come".
- Steward your help: guard it in prayer and the Word, beware new "friends" drawn only by your position, do not let it talk with the devil, and make God a promise to steward every help in 2025.
- Be diligent where you are, ignore distractions, then rest in God.
- When help angers people, do not reply; pray "my Father, answer them on my behalf".
- Anoint yourself with oil (oil of exemption; oil for big things) and let it flow to your children.
- After praying, ask God to open your eyes to what is happening at the gate; be ready with writing materials for fast instructions; speak in tongues more.
- Act in faith: celebrate as if it has happened, and prophesy over ordinary acts (bathing, drinking water, dressing).
- Keep the fast, and come every evening by 5:30 pm to close the day's prayer.
- Give offerings, tithes and partnership; support the church building project.
- Pick up a testimony form at the inquiry desk; first timers, fill out the visitor form.
- Fourth service: listen to the second service message.

- Sunday 19 January: "More Than I Prayed For" in all four services.
