Summary
The first Sunday of 2025, which Pastor Jerry calls "the first Sunday of the second year of Eloy" (El Roi, the God that sees me), runs as four services on one theme: "Behold, I will do a new thing." Each service opens with worship ("Way Maker", "Very Big God", "I've Got a Reason to Praise", "Trading My Sorrows", "You Make All Things New", "Forward I Go"), a prayer session that declares over every day of the coming week, and a fiery opening of prayer: "fire has cleared the way" over every month from January to December, the blood of Jesus called over each month, and old battles "taken off file" in the spirit. The cry of the day, repeated in every service, is "My new has come. The Lord has done a new thing." The day sits on the eve of the church's 21-day fast, which begins on Monday 6 January.
Each service has its own message. Service 1 (Matthew 13:1-9, the sower): God's nature is to make things new, but the new carries a "degree of responsibility". You are a sower: sow seeds of prayer, the word and thanksgiving, scatter all kinds of prayer during the fast, clear the weeds before you sow, do not let an answered prayer block the pathway to your next harvest, understand changing seasons, and when a hundredfold falls to sixty, ask God what revelation is missing. Service 2 (Matthew 22:1-14, the wedding feast): we are kings and priests. Live in overflow and "make celebrations happen" for others, let God change your circle ("Lord, send me the people I need, not those I want"), build capacity for warfare ("fasting starts tomorrow: build capacity"), deal with what is inside as well as outside, do not "make light of" important things, do not neglect reminders, and beware of idleness and idle friends.
Service 3 (Acts 9:36-41, Tabitha): addressed to "men of purpose", with five lessons: do not delay ("Jerry, don't delay"); put out voices that do not speak the language of your future ("Out!"); do not merely wash the dead, which only manages negativity; look at a bad situation through the eyes of God, not at God through the eyes of a bad situation; and carry a glory that makes situations "sit up". He tells of a casual call with his daughter, who said his words "put fire in my heart". Service 4 (Luke 13:6-9, the barren fig tree): five lessons for the journey through 2025: understand times and seasons (the fig tree was cut down in the very year it would have fruited), go deep or go home, ask what to add and what to remove, let your roots run deep because territorial forces compete for the same resources, and above all you need divine help. He tells how a visa officer once liked his shirt and approved his first US visa. He then prays a covenant of divine help over the congregation: "My help has come."
Words of knowledge run through the services: a stolen garment of favour returned on a higher level, legs doctors wanted to amputate, genotypes changing, a kidney surgery gone wrong, a lost left eye, recurring dreams of never arriving, a growth around the jaw, a dialysis booking for Monday, blood clots in the eyes, and "the siege of death is broken". Each service closes with anointing oil (head, hands, feet, eyes, ears, mouth), a New Year offering, welcomes for first-timers and new members ("give us three months"), and Psalm 91 as the benediction.
The testimonies are long and many. They include a microfinance loan cleared and two dead phones revived, a woman who met her husband in September and married in December, a sister-in-law who bled for seven years and then delivered a girl at 4am, a PhD scholarship three days before a wedding, a UK debt of 33 million naira paid in three months, a firstborn son after three daughters, the Governor of Edo State giving thanks for his 2024 election, a nasopharyngeal cancer healed, a son delivered from addiction and given back his licences, a young woman who survived electrocution and scalding, and a woman from London who woke from a two-and-a-half-month coma after her mother flew to the altar in Abuja.

Testimonies played / recapped
- Adaa (joined last week of 2023): strangers giving to her; two dead phones (repair quoted at almost 200,000 naira) began ringing after she laid them on the floor during NSPPD; a microfinance loan where she had paid over a million naira in 9 months but was credited 45,000, with high blood pressure, cleared when a sister gave her a million in November after she dreamed of Pastor Jerry; her 13-year-old son stopped bedwetting over 6 months ago; in-laws from another West African country treated in Nigeria for spine and prostate, healed with mantle, communion and anointing after Pastor kept naming "spine"; on crossover night official money owed since 2023 was paid.
- Happiness Brightness: single in 2023, at Pastor's birthday celebration she took a balloon as a point of contact for marriage; met her husband in September, married in December, came with him.
- Engineer Patrick Godfrey: his sister-in-law bled on and off for 7 years after a contraceptive implant; it stopped during NSPPD; doctors said she would not conceive; she conceived; when doctors planned induction he prayed she would call by 4am with a free delivery, and at 4am she delivered a baby girl, her smoothest pregnancy. His own mother died in childbirth over 20 years ago.
- A mother on NSPPD since 2021: daughter passed the certified fraud examiner exams after a retake, got a full PhD scholarship three days before her 3 August wedding, admission to the University of Dundee 10 days later, moved to Scotland on 23 September and her husband joined on 23 October; son in the UAE got his wife's visa (cancelled in 2021) approved 3 December and issued 11 December; a friend's promotion came on 20 December; apartments let after a vow.
- Prince A.: moved to the UK in 2022 with a 33 million naira debt and unpaid shop and house rent; found NSPPD on YouTube on 9 November ("the thing you are afraid of will not happen"); God told him to stay from sin and come home, then on 31 December 2022 to go to Streams of Joy and work for Him. Today is his two-year anniversary. By March 2023 the debt and rents were paid, he moved to a bigger flat and opened a long-awaited shop in Lagos; delivered from sexual addiction; joined protocol; married the protocol lady who once gave him a seat (court wedding 26 September, traditional and white wedding 26 October), with 70% of the wedding cost given as a gift; released by police who had pulled him into the bush when he shouted "Eloy".
- A woman married 15 years with three daughters: gender selection failed; she held the 2023 word "what your eyes have not seen", conceived after the 21-day fast, and a scan two weeks before delivery showed a boy. She brought baby Samuel to the altar.
- The Governor of Edo State (Senator Monday Okpebholo): testified here as a senator in 2023; in 2024 asked Pastor about running for governor and was told "go and take it"; won the primary and then a tough election against the incumbent's chosen candidate. After the election he found something black on his bed (the caption breaks off) and Pastor prayed against every arrow.
- HR company owner, 31st night volunteer: Pastor declared "global visibility"; on 1 January an unknown number invited them to speak on Channels TV, and on 2 January they spoke on strategy for 2025. Thirteen years of barrenness broken in 2024. Urges everyone to join a service unit.
- China (name uncertain), from Lagos: facing a sack in 2023, she was promoted with over 100% raise after the 21-day fast; her son's salivary gland swelling under the tongue vanished on the way to surgery; her own six weeks of heavy bleeding stopped after hearing a similar testimony on a Show Me Mercy Wednesday; a large foreign-currency gift after praying Pastor's birthday praises.
- An offshore engineer from Warri (NSPPD since 2021): sister of 40 married within three months, then conceived within three months of fibroid surgery despite a four-year prognosis; a neighbour childless for 5 years delivered a girl two days ago; a late pastor friend's daughter healed of stage four nasopharyngeal cancer after Pastor called it out; his wife's night ulcer attacks stopped; he delivered his flow station on the multi-billion-dollar Forcados Yokri integrated project flawlessly, sprinkling communion on site; over 1,500 helicopter flights in safety.
- A mother: her son, an occupational therapist doing a PhD, fell into addiction, lost job, home, car (walked out of a wrecked car) and licences; she held Pastor's "it will not end the way you think"; he was restored, got his driving licence without restriction, his professional licence was signed within 48 hours by a new officer, and he was offered a job two hours after the interview. A friend she sent to NSPPD saw visas for her four children approved a week later.
- Salomi, from Jos, Plateau State: on the altar since 8 October; the only one of 29 scholarship ladies retained at a tech institution; a friend abroad reconnected and made her the Nigeria contact for his newly registered football agency; on 29 November (a week of prayer against premature death) she was thrown by an electric shock, then scalded from head to lap by boiling water, shouting "Eloy" for five minutes; skin regrew within days after Pastor prayed "open wound, close"; no head injury; headaches gone after communion.
- Tamy, an IT project manager from the UK: on 18 September 2023, with a 16-week-old baby, her lungs filled with fluid; she was in a coma for about two and a half months, organs failing, with a 2% chance, and the family was told to prepare a funeral. Her mother flew from London to Abuja, prayed at NSPPD, sowed a seed and vowed they would testify; by the time she got back a specialist bed was found and Tamy was awake. She dreamed of Pastor Jerry and her mother saying "you can't have her" and a wall of fire. Told recovery would take two years, she walked into her daughter's first birthday in April. NSPPD played on MP3 in her room around the clock; her mother allowed no visitors.
Words of knowledge / healing declarations
- "As a prince you have prevailed with God and with men" (Jacob to Israel), for some on this first Sunday.
- A garment of favour stolen with doors locked in your face: returned on a higher level (the date said is unclear in the captions).
- A "spoiler" stationed at the final stage: uprooted. Seasonal sickness: gone.
- They said they would amputate your legs (wound): reversed. The delay of 2024: wings to fly. "God gives you back 20 years in January."
- Genotypes changing; a minor kidney surgery that went wrong: reversed; lost use of the left eye this year: reversed.
- Dreams of always travelling but never arriving, writing exams but never finishing, going back to old schools: broken.
- News between 11am and 1pm on Monday; those in the wrong lane aligned to purpose; a hand covering your mouth and a leaking pot (wasted effort): broken.
- Three siblings who lost jobs late last year: jobs back before 17 January.
- A growth in the mouth around the jaw ("two more", likely tumour): reversed; booked for dialysis from Monday: reversed; torment of abuse: reversed; "tomorrow your enemies will help you".
- Blood reflux in the legs, blood clots in the eyes, severe memory loss: reversed. Any animal representing you in the spirit, and generational powers fighting your children: broken.
- End of service 4: "the siege of death is broken"; constant affliction gone; circular movement broken; limitation over a child broken; direction for those asking.
Important message
- It is God's nature to make all things new. A life without newness tires its generation, so do not meet your generation with the old. 2025 is not 2024 with a new number: no old battles in a new year.
- The new carries responsibility. You are a sower: sow prayer, the word and thanksgiving, not bitterness. Seeds sown in the rainy season are reaped in the dry. What God promised is not vacant land; warfare clears it and builds your capacity.
- Understand times and seasons. A good seed on good ground can still be lost to a changing season, and the barren fig tree was cut in the very year it would have fruited. When your hundredfold drops to sixty, a revelation is missing.
- You are a king and a priest. Kingship dominates, priesthood supplies the supernatural infrastructure. Live in overflow so you can make celebrations happen for others; when you walk into a crisis you are the answer, not a guest at a pity party.
- God changes circles. Some people's season ended on 31 December; release them with thanks, stop begging those who refuse you, and expect God to send the people you need, often from unexpected places. Relationships are attracted to kingship and value.
- Battles come to challenge the prophecy, not you. Match them with capacity, and do not win outside only to be defeated by sin, envy or bitterness inside. This is "not the year to do Jesus and do sin".
- Do not make light of important things and do not neglect God's reminders. Idleness breeds destruction; occupy till he comes.
- Men of purpose must not delay. Silence voices that do not speak the language of your future, do not merely manage what is dead, and look at every situation through the eyes of God. The glory you carry will make situations sit up.
- Go deep or go home: in prayer, in knowing God and at work. Favour without substance does not last; when God shows you favour, build capacity. Your roots must run deep because others compete for the same resources.
- Above all you need divine help. A helped person cannot be stopped, and one should never fight someone God has helped. 2025 is built "on the foundation of divine help".
What he asks of us
Today / this season
- Shout and keep declaring "My new has come" (he suggested 50 times) and "The Lord has done a new thing"; tell 14 people "I am in my new", and 21 people "The Lord started my year with come-and-see miracles".
- Shake off anything that represents the old; renounce old battles, cycles and monitoring spirits.
- Sow seeds of prayer everywhere: in the night, driving, walking, when depressed. Pray "Father, I receive a pathway... the direction of my new season" and for understanding of times and seasons.
- Clear the weeds before you sow; use every gift you were afraid to use last year.
- Pray "Lord, change my circle; send me the people I need, not those I want". Release people whose season has ended, with thanks.
- Take out whatever inside is not of God; consecrate yourself; stop making light of priorities and heed God's reminders. If you are idle, find work or take a course.
- Do not delay: act on your vision board during the fast, start the midnight prayer, the hour of separation, the decision. Shout "Out!" at voices of fear, failure and the old.
- Go deep in prayer and at work; ask God what to add and what to remove; lay aside every weight. Ask praying parents to speak a word over your life.
- Anoint yourself with oil and give the New Year seed, tithe and partnership.
- Join a service unit; volunteer without waiting to be called.
- First-timers: fill the usher's form. New members: give the church three months.

- Register for the NSPPD Nigeria prayer conference in Lagos on 7 February 2025, and tell others.
- Support the church building project; submit testimony forms before the next service.
