OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY

The first morning of 2025 opens with the song "We know You are the rewarder of those who diligently seek Your face ... all power is in Your hands, with You nothing is impossible", sliding into the NSPPD refrain "What You cannot do does not exist." Pastor Jerry is then received and recounts two wonders from three weeks earlier. On the 7am prayers the Spirit told him someone was sitting beside a dead woman and should turn up the phone volume and place it beside her. A daughter whose mother had been confirmed clinically dead hours before did so; when the prayer ended nothing happened, she felt God had disappointed her, and "5 minutes later" the mother came back. In the second, a woman's husband had brain cancer surgery and the doctor said he would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered the doctor, "What God cannot do does not exist", called her husband's name in the ICU, and he opened his eyes. When staff removed the window blinds to move him out on a stretcher, the man stood up on his feet. He calls it "a revival of the strange acts of God."

The prayer theme is mercy for the new year: "Oh Lord, 2025, show me mercy." He prays that God's mercies are new every morning ("new year, new mercies"), that no one carries old battles, burdens or cycles into 2025, and that God would "satisfy me early with Your mercy", because "when mercy comes early there will be no delay." Prayer lines follow on the throne of grace, the prayer of Jabez ("bless me indeed, enlarge my coast, keep Your hand upon me, keep me from evil"), a month-by-month declaration that "His hand is upon your life" from January to December, being kept as the apple of God's eye, Psalm 138:8 ("perfect everything concerning me ... a fast track"), and Hagar's son Ishmael as an evidence that God heard. He then declares that believers under the better covenant can claim "the sure mercies of David", and announces that any rising and falling, disappointment at the edge of breakthrough, or stubborn affliction of 2024 is broken.

A ministry segment of words of knowledge follows (listed below), including a mother searching two missing children for over two years who is told "they are not dead" and will return before the middle of January. For those whose time zone was crossing into the new year during the prayer, a second minister leads a long prayer of mercy: Israel out of Egypt, the Red Sea, David established, a month-by-month "the mercy of the Lord endures forever", and Romans 9: "It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy." The day's declaration lands: "2025 has been laid on mercy." A seed is received under that declaration.

Testimony videos are played (trichotillomania healed, a stomach mass gone, a miracle baby after six years, a breast cancer biopsy that came back clear), followed by salvation, two communions, the testimony line, socials, the word for the year (El Roi, "the God that sees me"), and short reflections from Pastor K and a second minister on the sure mercies being generational. The service closes with a Psalm 91 confession and seven rounds of "congratulations" ahead of the miracles of the year.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Mother raised (recap): three weeks earlier, a word of knowledge told someone beside a dead woman to raise the phone volume and place it beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead; after the prayer nothing happened, then five minutes later she came back to life.
• Brain cancer surgery (recap): the doctor said the husband would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. The wife said "what God cannot do does not exist", called his name in the ICU and he opened his eyes; when staff prepared to move his stretcher out through the window, he stood up.
• Alexis Anuk(?) (name uncertain): trichotillomania for 12 years. Missed NSPPD on 3 January 2024 because her phone was on do not disturb; her sister heard a word of knowledge about someone forcefully pulling out their hair and ran to tell her. Delivered since, with self-worth restored.
• "T..." from Abuja (name lost in captions): opened surgically three times in two years, the last in August; three scans showed a mass in the stomach. Asked God to "do this surgery Yourself"; after last week's prayer the same hospital rescanned and found nothing, every organ functioning well.
• Endurance Modo(?) from the United States: married October 2018; repeated pregnancy losses, fibroids, and a fibroid surgery that removed about half her womb, with eggs "not forming". Joined the altar in August 2022 and prayed during the "women believing for the fruit of the womb" lines. Now holds her baby, Zachary Tamar(?) ("God has remembered me").
• Lady from London, UK: March 2024 breast scan; the consultant called it "a typical image of breast cancer" in the right breast. She had the biopsy at once, holding Pastor Jerry's words "what they saw they will not see again". The result was delayed twice; on 11 April 2024 the consultant phoned: no trace of cancer.

1. We are in a season of a revival of the strange acts of God; what God cannot do does not exist, even against a clinical death or a surgeon's six-month prognosis.
2. God's mercies are new every morning; a new year brings new mercies, so no one has to carry 2024's battles, burdens or cycles into 2025.
3. When mercy comes early there is no delay: mercy satisfaction breaks endless waiting, demonic quietness and the cycle of delay.
4. God is not a God of abandoned projects. He did not bring you into 2025 to forget what He said in 2024; He perfects everything concerning you.
5. Under the better covenant believers can claim the sure mercies of David, and those mercies are generational, passing to children and children's children.
6. It is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth, but of God who shows mercy: 2025 will carry what human running and willing cannot, so the whole year has been laid on mercy.
7. Where they called you weak, tired or finished, mercy will speak; whatever "Egyptians" you saw in 2024 you will see no more.
